Anthropic’s Fable 5 Compute Blitz — $10B Meta Lease & Billing Restructure

Anthropic has reportedly entered talks to lease $10 billion of computing infrastructure from Meta to sustain Claude’s growing inference demand, signaling a dramatic escalation in AI infrastructure concentration risk. This comes as Anthropic simultaneously restructures Claude Fable 5 pricing: the Max tier (formerly the highest-cost plan) now includes Fable 5 access at no additional charge, while Pro subscribers shift to a per-token billing model for Fable 5 usage, reflecting the model’s extreme computational cost.

In parallel, Anthropic launched Claude for Healthcare, marking the company’s push into HIPAA-regulated environments, and revamped its broader subscription lineup with new tier logic.
